Repeat Prescriptions
Please Note that our Practice will be going live on Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) from May 2016.
EPS enables GPs to send prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy of the patient's choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient. It gives you the choice of choosing a place for your prescription to be sent electronically to get your medicines or appliances from.
For More information visit www.hscic.gov.uk/epspatients, your pharmacy or at the GP Practice.
If you are on long-term medication and have been approved for repeat prescriptions you can order in a number of ways:
- By Hand - drop your repeat slip in the box provided at reception with the required item(s) clearly marked.
- By Post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- By Telephone - to 01977 801444. The prescription line is open between 10:00 - 12:00 Monday to Friday. Please state either your computer number or name and address and the items required.

Some chemists have a delivery service available for the elderly and housebound. Please contact your local chemist for details.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
